MacTaverne is a refined British-style pub and seven-room auberge in Val-David, in the heart of the Laurentians, about an hour from Montreal on Le P'tit Train du Nord. Proper pints, candlelight, good music, a real wine cellar, and honest food made in-house. The kind of place La Presse called "un pub de haut vol." Working here is a change of pace.
