Balam is a modern and refined Mexican restaurant located in the heart of Royalmount. Inspired by the richness of Mexican culture and the energy of Tulum, we offer a unique experience where gastronomy, creative cocktails, and hospitality come together.

We are looking for a full-time Head Chef to lead our team, evolve our culinary offerings, and actively participate in the growth of the restaurant.

Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen

• Manage, train, and motivate the kitchen team

• Ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of dishes

• Participate in the creation and evolution of menus

• Control costs, inventory, and orders

• Maintain hygiene and safety standards

Profile
• Experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant

• Positive leadership and excellent organizational skills

• Passion for cooking, creativity, and teamwork

• Ability to perform in a dynamic environment

• Knowledge of MAPAQ standards and good management practices

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Chef(fe) de Cuisine à temps plein pour diriger notre brigade, faire évoluer notre offre culinaire et participer activement à la croissance du restaurant.
Responsabilités
• Superviser les opérations quotidiennes de la cuisine

• Gérer, former et motiver l’équipe de cuisine

• Assurer la qualité, la constance et la présentation des plats

• Participer à la création et à l’évolution des menus

• Contrôler les coûts, les inventaires et les commandes

• Maintenir les normes d’hygiène et de salubrité
Profil recherché
• Expérience comme Chef(fe) ou Sous-chef(fe) dans un restaurant à fort volume

• Leadership positif et excellent sens de l’organisation

• Passion pour la cuisine, la créativité et le travail d’équipe
• Capacité à performer dans un environnement dynamique

• Connaissance des normes MAPAQ et des bonnes pratiques de gestion
